Tried & Tested By The Experts at Deesse PRO: Sculpta Routine

2 min read

There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking time to properly prepare your skin before a treatment. Especially when using the Déesse PRO Sculpta device. For me, the results are always better when I slow down, focus on skin prep, and turn the treatment into a proper ritual rather than rushing through it.

Step 1: Thoroughly Cleanse & Prep the Skin

Before beginning my Sculpta treatment, I always make sure my skin is fully cleansed. Depending on how my skin feels, I’ll either use the luxurious iS Clinical Warming Honey Cleanser for a deeper cleanse or opt for a cleansing balm to gently melt away makeup, SPF, and impurities.

I love starting with a warm cleanse because it helps soften the skin, relax facial tension, and prepare the complexion for the treatment ahead. After cleansing, I remove everything using a hot flannel or warm cloth, which leaves my skin feeling fresh, comforted, and ready for the next step.

Step 2: Facial Massage & Skin Stimulation

One step I never skip is facial massage. Before switching on the device, I spend a few minutes using knuckling and lifting techniques across the face and neck.

This helps to:

  • Stimulate circulation
  • Encourage lymphatic drainage
  • Bring warmth and oxygen to the skin
  • Reduce puffiness and facial tension

I find this really helps “wake up” the face and creates the perfect foundation for a more sculpted, lifted result afterwards.

Step 3: Apply Conductive Gel

To ensure the device glides smoothly and comfortably, I apply an even layer of conductive gel across the face. At the moment, I’m using the Hydracoll Mask as my conductive medium because it keeps my skin feeling hydrated throughout the treatment while still allowing excellent slip for the device.

Applying enough product is key. It prevents dragging and allows the technology to work effectively across the skin.

Step 4: RF & LED Treatment

I begin my treatment using Mode 4 (RF/LED), working across the entire face while spending extra time focusing on my forehead area where I tend to hold the most tension and notice fine lines.

I particularly love combining Radio Frequency and LED because over time my skin looks:

  • Smoother
  • Firmer
  • More lifted
  • Refreshed and energised

It’s one of my favourite steps because the results feel both instant and cumulative.

Step 5: EMS Sculpting

After completing the RF/LED stage, I move onto EMS mode for a total of 12 minutes — approximately 6 minutes per side of the face.

During this stage, I alternate between:

Depending on the area I’m treating. I especially enjoy using EMS around the cheeks, jawline, and lower face because it creates such a visibly lifted and sculpted appearance.

This step always leaves my face looking more defined and toned afterwards.

Step 6: Post-Treatment Recovery

Once I’ve finished the treatment, I remove any remaining gel using another warm cloth before applying a rich overnight moisturiser to deeply hydrate and support the skin barrier overnight.

When using Sculpta, I personally prefer to keep the rest of my skincare fairly simple beforehand. I like allowing the device technology and electrical stimulation to do most of the work without layering too many active ingredients underneath.

For me, consistency and proper preparation make all the difference, and turning the treatment into a relaxing self-care ritual is just as important as the visible sculpting results themselves.
